Podiatry
Our podiatry trials study treatments for foot and ankle conditions, including plantar fasciitis, diabetic foot ulcers and fractures.

About this area
The feet contain bones and joints supported by muscles, tendons and ligaments. Problems in these structures can affect foot comfort and movement.
Diabetes can damage nerves and blood vessels in the feet. Reduced feeling can make an injury harder to notice, and poor blood flow can slow healing. A foot ulcer is an open sore.
Conditions we study
- Plantar fasciitis
- Diabetic foot ulcers
